Wetlands- Miracles in Mumbai

The Wetlands of India are estimated to be 58.2 million hectares, accounting for 3% of the world’s mangrove cover. India currently has 27 sites designated as Wetlands of International Importance, with a surface area of 1,056,871 hectares. ‘Wetlands of Mumbai’ is a one-hour original film shot entirely in Ultra High Definition (4K), dedicated to these natural coast guards that are invaluable carbon sinks, and one of the strongest counter forces we have against climate change. The film highlights the dynamic nature, the ethereal beauty, and the immense biological importance of the mangroves, along with challenges to their existence.
